A microchip number will NEVER contain the following: ISO11784/785, as this is the worldwide frequency regulation ID.

  • Breeder number only needs to be entered by a breeder, pet owners do not need to complete this section.

**Activate your pets MAT-TAG for tracing and reunification benefits.**

Please note if your pet did not come with a My Animal Trace MAT-TAG (red QR code pet ID tag pictured), you will need to select the option ‘Registration plus MAT-TAG plus activation’ at the point of registration. Please only select ‘Registration including MAT-TAG activation’ if you already have your pet MAT-TAG. 

If your pet happens to stray, a finder can scan your pets QR MAT-TAG with any mobile device. Once scanned, the finder follows the instructions given to them on their screen to reunite you with your pet. As the pet owner, you will receive a notification that your pet has been found, including a pinpoint location of the scan and the finder contact details! The finder will receive your contact details therefore proving a safe reunification with your beloved pet! Your MAT-TAG comes with the benefits below.

  • Pinpoint location of tag scan by anyone that finds your missing pet
  • Connect with finder for efficient reunification, which mean less stress for you and your pet
  • If your pet does go missing, a finder can scan the MAT-TAG to reunite, rather than having to take them to a vets/warden
  • 1, 3, 5, or 10 year activation options for only £1.00 per month or less!

*Please note: without activation, QR MAT-TAGS will not have your keeper details available to be searched by a person that finds your lost pet, but will still be able to have their microchip scanned in the case of reunification.

**By activating your MAT-TAG, you are agreeing to share your name, email address and/or contact number to a person that finds and scans your pets MAT-TAG.
